Hertha BSC star Salomon Kalou has talked about his desire to play in the MLS at the end of his career in an interview with Bild, translated by ESPN.

The former Chelsea player has only a few months left on his contract at Bundesliga side Hertha BSC, and has expressed his desire to move to America before he retires.

However, he also says in the interview that he wants to stay in Germany for the foreseeable future as they fight for a spot in the Champions League:

I love Major League Soccer, and my wish is to play there. I enjoy this project, to chase European football with my teammates. Hertha has not played internationally for a long time. That would be outstanding for our fans.
