Sporting Kansas City and new USMNT forward Dom Dwyer could be headed to Orlando City according to Taylor Twellman. Twellman claims Orlando has been attempting to land Dwyer for almost a week and Sporting KC has engaged in talks.

Dwyer has 55 goals in 111 Major League Soccer (MLS) appearances since 2014 and also has two goals in his first three USMNT appearances. Dwyer also began his career in Orlando City when the club was still a United Soccer League (USL) side.

There are conflicting reports, but Twellman also mentioned Dwyer was in the last year of his MLS contract. Something else to keep in mind, though, is Dwyers wife and USWNT star Sydney Leroux plays for FC Kansas City in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
