DC United steamrolled over the nine men of Real Salt Lake with the help of a Wayne Rooney hat trick, keeping them at the top of the Eastern Conference.

Columbus Crew forward Gyasi Zardes leads the way with four goals, while Minnesota’s Darwin Quintero and Columbus Crew’s Pedro Santos lead with three assists. DC United are still yet to concede a goal after three games this season.
