Seattle Sounders won their second MLS Cup since 2016, beating Toronto FC 3-1 in a sold-out CenturyLink Field.

After a scoreless first half, the Sounders headed to the locker room frustrated with such little possession.

The scoring finally started after Kelvin Leerdam’s shot was deflected in off Justin Morrow in the 57th minute.

Seattle got a second from substitute Victor Rodriguez assisted by Nicolas Lodeiro in the 76th minute and then a third added by Raul Ruidiaz in the 90th minute.

Jozy Altidore scored a consolation for the away side in extra time with a header assisted by Alejandro Pozuelo.

With this win, Seattle join LA Galaxy (5), DC United (5), Sporting KC (2), Houston Dynamo (2), and San Jose Earthquakes (2) as the only clubs with multiple MLS Cup titles.
